Clear teeth aligners are easy to care for! Just brush them gently and rinse them in warm (not hot) water. That’s it!
Yes! That’s part of the magic. You can remove your aligners when you eat, drink, brush and floss. You can even take them out for special occasions, like a big date or job interview. Just remember to wear them as instructed for at least 20-22 hours a day for best results.
Since your aligners are removable, there are no foods you MUST avoid. When wearing metal braces that can’t be removed, you must be VERY careful to avoid sticky and hard-to-remove foods. This is not the case with clear braces. Eat what you love! Just remember to pick foods that are great for your dental (and whole-body) health.
Generally speaking, Invisalign® teeth aligners are comparable in price to traditional metal braces. When you meet with Dr. Patel for your consultation, she can explain financing options for Invisalign®.
The length of your teeth straightening treatment will depend on the current alignment of your teeth and your smile goals. However, most people will end up wearing their aligners for about 24 months.
