Dr. Nammy’s Morning Routine to Set Your Day for Success (Video)
Hi, this is Dr. Nammy, and today I wanted to share with you about my morning routine. I know that many of us like to get up in the morning and would like to have some sort of a routine that is really great for us. So my routine’s about an hour in the mornings. Sometimes I am really busy and I don’t have that hour. So I do have a truncated version as well I’ll share with you.
And the reason I share the morning routine with you, most importantly I was going to say, is that I love the nightly routine even more than my morning routine. So I am going to say and chair that. Please do a nightly routine as well. And then in the mornings, it’s a great way to start your day. And I like to set up my day for success.
Your Vision for Your Life
So the first thing I like to do is I like to read my vision. As soon as I wake up, I like to read my vision. My vision is to help people live longer, richful joyful lives, and it can be as simple as that. And I ask myself on a daily basis, what can I do to serve others? What can I do to help other people bear fruits on their trees? And I want to be part of that journey where I am serving others and I’m able to feel happy, satisfied, and fulfilled. So those are the questions I start my day off with.
Gratitude Practice
And then I take 10 minutes and do some gratitude. So really feeling grateful for all that I have and all that I’m receiving, and all that might not be so perfect. It’s happening for the perfect reason. Maybe I’m meant to grow.
Maybe I’m meant to learn something and it’s happening at the perfect time for me so that I can be a better human being and I can have a better experience of life. So 10 minutes of gratitude is really, really, really, really beautiful. And I follow the gratitude with some physical exercise.
Exercise
So ideally, I like to do about 30 minutes that’s either on a treadmill or sitting and doing some weights or anything like that. And if I’m looking for a shorter version, sometimes I do 10 minutes of yoga. If I’m running a little behind, I’ll do 10 minutes of yoga.
Visualization
And then I spend about 20 minutes visualizing my day and visualizing my vision. What is that I really desire? And really visualizing that so that I’m a magnet or I’m attracting the things that I want to manifest in my life. And that’s how I do my morning routine. Super easy.
You can do it an hour. If you wanted to do 20 minutes or 30 minutes, whatever you want to do is okay, but I do recommend the components. So the components are really reading a vision, really having some gratitude practice, even if it’s two minutes each, and then some form of exercise and then some visualizing.
Those things are really key into doing a morning routine and setting ourselves up for success and starting our day on a win. And from then on, it’s just a beautiful day because you’ve already accomplished everything you want or you’ve accomplished some most important things in the morning in the first hour that you’re at. So I invite you to do so. I invite you to share with me what you think about it, and I invite you to create your own version. Maybe it’s a 15 minute routine, maybe it’s a 10 minute routine where you’re doing two minutes of gratitude, two minutes of visioning, two minutes of visualization, and then maybe four to six minutes of exercise, whatever that looks like for you, but some form of starting your morning out in a positive way.
So have a wonderful day and I’m delighted to hear about your experiences. Thank you.
