How Emdogain Revitalizes Gum Tissue

My favorite thing about Emdogain is that it is a great natural peptide. So what it does, it signals your body to make gum tissue, which is really cool because we don don’t have to cut you open. We don’t have to do anything like that.

We basically put this product on onto your root surface, and it allows your body to make new gum tissue, which is really great because what your body does, or your immune system does, it takes the Emdogain peptide. It’s a signaling product. So what it does is it signals your body to start healing, and it starts signaling your body to make more gum tissue, which is really, really, really cool.

And my favorite ways to use Emdogain is after deep cleanings. It’s a great way so you don’t get a big pocket, which is really wonderful. And then a lot of times when there’s gum recession, it’s really fantastic. And a lot of times I use it with pinhole gum rejuvenation. So that healing is wonderful. It’s faster, it’s easier, and it works really great for our patients. And it is so nice that we could use our understanding of natural biology and find products that are naturally occurring and existing in our bodies to be able to heal ourselves.
